Bedemco has developed programs in the dried fruit and nut industry to open up economic opportunities for agricultural communities in remote areas of the world. Some of our projects include:
- Participation in U.S. trade missions to help set up drying and infusion lines in areas where there is abundant fruit but no means of production.
- Educating our processors about the taste and preferences of the U.S. market to encourage better product development and to better serve our clients.
- Introducing new processing technologies to small cooperatives to improve the manufacturing standards and output of the plant.
- Opening up quality industry developments throughout the world, particularly in South Africa, Mexico, West Africa, China, and rural areas of North America.
