| Product Detail: | The pineapple is thought to have originated from in the Amazon. It was taken back to Europe by the Spanish and eventually spread to various Pacific islands. Bedemco offers pineapple products which are all natural with no added sugar, additives or preservatives. Pineapple is a good source of vitamin C, with a typical serving providing about 20% of the recommended daily adult intake. Pineapple also contains bromelain, an enzyme thought to combat heart disease and arthritis among other illnesses. Researchers suspect it interferes with the synthesis of inflammatory substances in the body. |
